Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television series. She was raised in Northern Virginia and is the middle child from two siblings. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters, and was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada made her debut on the television industry by appearing on numerous National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara an appearance for which she received an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. The actress has also appeared on television shows such as How I Met Your Mother as well as Entourage, Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recent appearances included the action-science fiction movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada has been cast in The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that was telecast on primetime television. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada portray the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic healing. Ghanizada joined HBO Entourage's cast in 2009 and played Kelly.
